Death & Soap
A personal memory of family & soap operas from The NYT. Just imagine we've added some pseudo-informed crap about the changes in the world of broadcasting & everything the hell else, as we'd sort of intended following the cancellation last wk. of "As The World Turns," the last P&G owned & operated soap.

Too bad it's just a lens & mic pointed at the telebision. They could at least plug the tee vee sound into the $50.00 webcam.
The other channel at ATHDE has the sound, but it kept dying on me.

We found the game on the radio, from the L. A. Angels of Anaheim's static-y AM station fifty miles south of here, & watched the game in classic "Movies through Jello-O™" style, only to see the Raiders suck worse & lose their QB, while you & the Wash. 'Skins get bragging rights.
Enjoyed the Qatar tee vee ads; the idea of a signal originating 400 miles north of us being bounced from a minimum of two satellites to the other side of this hideous orb & then streamed back to The Coast is not un-amusing, but it sho' nuff do waste them electrons. Eat that, libs!
