Boyle Heights — Authorities are looking into why the back of a box truck exploded tonight near the busy intersection of Olympic Boulevard and Soto Street.
The L.A. Fire Department said the male driver and passenger parked and got out of the vehicle and were not injured, said the L.A. Fire Department. No other injuries were reported as a result of the explosion, reported shortly before 6 p.m.
