"Look Very Closely ..."

Someone's projecting again.
Crokin encouraged viewers to “look very closely at the people who are screaming the loudest, complaining about President Trump” because “every single one of those people, you’ll find—because I’ve researched all these scumbags—you will find that all of these people have ties to sex trafficking rings, ties to pedophilia, ties to pedophiles.”

“For example, Sen. Ben Sasse from Nebraska” she said. “We know that there was a huge cover-up with the trafficking of young boys to politicians to Omaha, Nebraska. He’s one of the Republicans that has been screaming the loudest against President Trump. Well, he used to work for Speaker of the House Dennis Hastert, okay? And there are people who claim that his job working for Dennis Hastert was to help lure young, underage boys for Dennis Hastert, who went to jail for raping boys.”
Really, Liz Crokin? Really? Because the Oklahoma State Chairman of the Trump campaign is the molester here.
Shortey was swept into office as part of the 2010 Tea Party flood, and he’s done everything he could to fit in with that crew. He loves guns (and argued in favor of open carry legislation because, and I quote, You will know the fear that a [wild] turkey can invoke in a person”). He abhors nearly everything about immigrants (earning him the admiration and endorsement of Joe Arpaio). He is a Birther, pushing for a state law that would require Presidential candidates to present a valid long-form birth certificate before their name could appear on the Oklahoma ballot. And he’s so well-liked that Dog The Bounty Hunter himself hosted a fundraiser for Shortey’s 2014 reelection.

However, Shortey’s most famous for his 2012 push to ban the use of aborted human fetuses in food. (Which, personal note, was a real bummer, as when I visit family in Oklahoma, I like to do nothing better than head to the local Blastula Burger for a heapin’ helping of their Famous Fetus Fries, but I guess that’s over with.)

Most recently, Shortey worked as the Oklahoma state chair for Donald Trump’s primary campaign.

But of course.

Shortey’s last Facebook post was March 10—the day after Shortey was found in the hotel room--and featured a photo of him standing with his arm around Donald Trump, Jr. (Image above)
And now, Federal charges.
Former state Sen. Ralph Shortey wept in court Wednesday after being charged with four federal child sex crimes that will require him to spend at least 15 years in prison if convicted.

A federal grand jury meeting in Oklahoma City returned a four-count indictment Tuesday charging Shortey, 35, with child sex trafficking and child pornography offenses.

Shortey, R-Oklahoma City, pleaded not guilty Wednesday afternoon after being brought to a federal courtroom in handcuffs. He wiped away tears with a tissue.
