I don't know how you can just decide to put 9 (out of ten) rounds downrange into a car fulla unarmed kids and have the result NOT seem like getting off easy.

But even if the conviction doesn't FEEL like justice, the sentence surely does. 'Cause going to prison at 47 and knowing you're never coming out again, all those long years in loud, dark, violent hole seems like about the worst we can do to him, and that ultimately works for me...

By the way, this gun murder should put to rest the pointless calls for reducing magazine capacities. He ran through ten rounds - a perfectly legal magazine capacity even here in California - and only a combination of incompetence and luck prevented it from being a slaughter...

Sentence Editor:
Life (effectively) works for your editor. Murderer will have a reason to be scared now. And if they don't put the same gov't. employee/stupid jerk who botched the Trayvon Martin trial as well as this one in charge of the retrial, who fucking knows, the appearance of justice could be had.

As the Colo. legislator said, "Good thing that guy at the Batman flick had an E-Z Jam 100-round mag." So if ease of jamming is what's up, bolt action rifles & revolvers only!

(Or flintlocks, RKBA intentionalism/originalism-wise.)
