No, nobody knows it, yes, there is plenty of it. Currently, the trouble is what we're not seeing: Cable-delivered telebision.
Honestly, we tear ourself from bed at the crack of 1300, turn on the telly on the way to boil water for coffee, & TimeWarnerCable is screwed up! What the hell? At least we have the iNternet; we'll grant TWC that the iNternet & television are seldom out at the same time. Small comfort, really.
O.K., now we have sound & vision, but the TVGuide is not functioning; everything is "to be announced."
And no, we have no idea whatsoever how we manage to carry on under these circumstances. (We must be even nobler than we realize.)

The programming data comes out of a stupid old legacy system instead of a modern LAMP/Java application environment so it takes like thirty minutes to refresh and repopulate. Cheap bastards won't spend any of their billions in profits to update it...
Here in W.V., we're getting WHAG and ION. And that's it. And now the internet is going out for an hour or two, every few hours. At least there's moonshine...
