Two-Minute (& 42 Second) Hate

Full disclosure/admission: Thirty yrs. ago (Literally. Fuck!) we added some oomph to our song-stylings vocal flailingblues shouting w/ whatever then-state-of-the-art reverb dealies these people were offering. We keep telling ourself it's not really the same though.

it's hard for me to care because I don't know the "original" but what occured to me was, that poor girl's gonna strain her vocal cords beyond repair in a couple of months.

Oh well, let the industry chew 'em up and spit 'em out.

Well, certainly better than poor widdle Taylor Swift without autotune, whose out-of-tune warblings are enough to make my ears bleed. I suppose the auto-tune is done on the final vocals because that's the way it's 'spozed to be for pre-packaged "music product" in today's world. Hmm. "music product". Reminds me of the words "meat by-product." I think I stepped in some of that the last time I hiked through a cow pasture...

Live fast, die young & leave your vocal cords to science. Not to worry, the original isn't much better.

We've never consciously heard T. Swift (or Katy Perry) but we'll assume they're both awful & talentless.

Used an actual professional recording studio which had the Lexicon. Guy had a giant (6ft., maybe) reverb plate in the hall too, but we never used it.
