History Shows Again & Again ...

Collection of old, some historical photos. Don't miss the one of Fascist HQ in 1934. This is our favorite, an SAS raiding party, which, w/ the Long Range Desert Group, was the inspiration for the American telebision program The Rat Patrol. Of course the rats were Kiwis, Limeys & fucking Rhodesians (Remember Rhodesia?) not Yanks, but that didn't stop the producers.

Also worth noting: The jeeps in the tee vee show never carried that many jerry cans.

And two pintle-mounted .303 Lewis guns are far more likely than one great big-ass Ma Deuce. Although trying to keep those snail drum magazines working in the sand must have been an exercise in existential futility...
