History Shows Again & Again ...

Collection of old, some historical photos. Don't miss the one of Fascist HQ in 1934. This is our favorite, an SAS raiding party, which, w/ the Long Range Desert Group, was the inspiration for the American telebision program The Rat Patrol. Of course the rats were Kiwis, Limeys & fucking Rhodesians (Remember Rhodesia?) not Yanks, but that didn't stop the producers.
SAS detachment 19 January 1943
Also worth noting: The jeeps in the tee vee show never carried that many jerry cans.

And two pintle-mounted .303 Lewis guns are far more likely than one great big-ass Ma Deuce. Although trying to keep those snail drum magazines working in the sand must have been an exercise in existential futility...

Heh heh, you typed "pintle."

Popularity. Like Junior High. This is mostly because I'm curious. You should all be ashamed.
