Motown Moron

The Nuge doesn't want welfare bums to vote. Yes, it's the same tired schtick, including the "skin in the game" argument, & adds the imaginary voter fraud bit.
Let’s also stop the insanity by suspending the right to vote of any American who is on welfare. Once they get off welfare and are self-sustaining, they get their right to vote restored. No American on welfare should have the right to vote for tax increases on those Americans who are working and paying taxes to support them. That’s insane.

In addition to suspending a welfare recipient’s right to vote, we also need to get our voting system straightened out and eliminate voter fraud. We need to ensure that only Americans vote by requiring polling places to validate the identification of each voter.

It shouldn’t take a Motown guitar slayer to come up with these common-sense bargaining chips before taxes are raised on the producers, which will further choke the economy. How about it, GOP?
Especially since Nugent didn't "come up w/" any of these "buffalobargaining chips."

He probably does think these cretins should be allowed to vote.
But in 2010, ACORN filed Chapter 7 bankruptcy, putting an end to the community organizing effort altogether. Still, the fact that ACORN no longer exists hasn’t stopped the group from serving its role as scapegoat. Fifty two percent of Republicans blamed ACORN for Obama’s win in 2008, saying that they “stole” the election for him. That number only dropped by 3 percent, and 49 percent blame ACORN this time around.

"guitar slayer"? Yeah, in the sense that he kills the soul of any guitar he plays.

Since so much of legislation fucks with the lives of the lower 99%, I figure they have plenty of skin in the game. And organs, and children...

These fuckers will stand up and proclaim themselves "Patriots" while constantly endorsing the most anti-democratic, anti-American, authoritarian measures.

Sure, let's start arbitrarily deciding which Americans can vote. Can't see how that could possibly start being problematic.

Hey Nugent, you prick, should we prevent them from having the right to own guns too?

mikey, I think he might be less supportive of the "Starship Troopers" approach to the voting franchise. You've served; he didn't. He would not be able to vote, no matter how many guns he has.

But of course, as with so many of these "common sense solutions", Nugent and his type only ever see that as applying to not-angry-white-suburban-guys.

I like this idea, if we can start with Ted Nugent.

Anybody else, we'll have to vote on.

I'm sure he's a very good shot. He's put a LOT of rounds downrange.

Of course, one cannot help but wonder how much his combat efficiency might falter when all the rounds aren't outgoing. In fact, I think I can comfortably predict how the mouthy Mr. Nugent might react to some serious incoming fire...

I think you're right about that.

As far as whether he's a good shot, I don't know myself but to me he seems a bit...excitable. My thoughts would be old Ted relies on the quantity of rounds he's putting downrange. Hunting with him is a bit like going hunting with Dick Cheney, is all I'm saying....

Yes, I'm kind of wondering when the right wing will start supporting the rights of inner city youths of color to own guns. Wonder why they aren't very vocal on that?

If nothing else, can you imagine the difficulty of administering such a proposal? How many more public employees would we need to make sure the integrity of such a concept was carried out properly?

Obviously, the Nuge has no fucking idea how public policy is actually carried out.
