Caltech broke its 310-game basketball losing streak with a one-point win tonight — at home — over rival Occidental in the final game of the season. It's the Beavers' first conference win since, oh, 1985. The final: 46-45.We had no idea. (Obviously, because those fucking 310-time losers would have been mercilessly mocked in this space had we known.)

I can’t believe Caltech even has a men’s basketball team! With its struggles, it sounds like the program should have been eliminated a LONG time ago.
