WHERE IS THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT?

Hamburger Habit Just Might Cause One
Don't believe the hype. Ate there (once) while inhabiting the Half Moon Motel (Also on Sepulveda.) Entirely different, & we don't remember the food or the experience having been worth a return visit when Mr. Charming & Personal
The man who took my order was the owner, Frank Pezeshki.  With his mustache, open-necked shirt, and gold Star of David, Frank is a character.  He reminds me of character actor Lou Jacobi. However, to make a point, Frank doesn’t raise his low voice.  Rather, he reaches across the counter to touch you on the arm. Then, when he sees an extra drop of drink on the outside of your cup, [Our emphasis. Yuck, how many roaches has he squashed w/ that cloth?] he reaches across the counter again, grabs the cup, and wipes it clean with a cloth. It’s certainly personal, hands-on service.
ran the dump in WeHo. Fatburger's a much better deal.

Any relation?

Where you get your ammonia-treated pork slime is an important choice, and I welcome this review.

I'm in a similar situation to Matt Mason. Our usual burger joint is more out of the way than the new joint what opened last month. And while I'm never giving up on the Sloppy Jet with a side of cheese curds, the new place puts bacon on their poutine.

My usual burger joint is the local pub. Eating a burger without a pint of beer just seems wrong.

The social whirl outside the Burger & Brew? Two Bs short.

We vote for Fish on a Bun w/ Cheese from RetroBurger.

Our fave local chains are also red & yellow (WARNING: Auto-Noise.) & the Bible verses on In-N-Out's packaging are backed by above-minimum-wage pay & health insurance. For once.

Many yrs. ago we lived two blks. from the all time hamburger champion Sunset Grill, known by locals as "Joe's." Owner/chief cook Joe would take two pre-formed patties & use a roller to squish 'em together, then give you two of them in a Double Chili Cheese on a Kaiser.

Well, Joe's been dead for a while now, & some new folks bought the place ... (When did this turn into a country song?) fixed it up/ruined it the ambiance & no more Kaiser rolls.

Anyway, an Internet prescence who eats (Raw, & shipped all the way to Ohio ?) octupuses complains of ammonia slime? Ho.
