200 Miles From The Border Isn't Far Enough

Inside the mentality of the right-wing gun nut:

I’m armed. I’ve got this place sealed up like Fort Knox. Even have the monitored alarm system (which was responded to on a false alarm but it did take 10 minutes). Got the place stocked up for nuclear winter (which is a natural result of growing up poor). But, I’m a middle aged woman of limited physical strength. Alone. And very worried. I have no children or spouse. Siblings are all at least 400 miles away and the more reliable ones are 800 and 2000 miles away. Divide and conquer is one side effect of our current society. The border with Mexico is less than 200 miles away. The deflation is already occurring. The housing prices and stock market situation are reminiscent of the 1930s now. Upside down mortgages mean we’re paying more for our property than it’s actually worth (at the moment). Get ready for massive INflation in the next couple of years. This is really going to be unpleasant.

Apparently our current society has deliberately kept her from her siblings, especially the more reliable ones. Too damn bad we all can't stay on the farm all our lives, huh?
It does approach sad to think of this woman quivering in fear less than 200 miles from the Mexican border. Once the actual, as opposed to merely demographic, reconquista begins, they'll be at this woman's door w/in four days. If they're walking. What if "Obama’s soon-to-come “Civilian Defense Force”" (whatever the hell that is, it was mentioned in the same brain-free comments) gives the 'Meskins rides?
