Five Dead in Los Angeles:
The standoff began shortly after a man in Winnetka called 911 saying he had gunned down three relatives. It ended early Thursday -- more than eight hours later -- with a single round from a police sniper who killed the suspect as he emerged from his burning house firing a barrage of bullets. In between, two highly decorated Los Angeles Police Department officers were shot, one fatally.
Out in a blaze of glory after killing the rest of your family. Just how we wanted to do it. If you can't get a celebrity or politician, your family's the next best thing. And lighting your house on fire is a nice finishing touch.
Speaking of politicians, we all know how horrid the gov't. is, w/ its parking tickets & other affronts to freedom. One man stood up for himself
last night. Best part of this one? The shooter's brother thinks it's just fine:
Thornton's brother, Gerald, told local television station KMOV that he saw justification for the bloodshed. "My brother went to war tonight with the people and government that were putting torment and strife into his life, and he ended it," Gerald Thornton said. "I'm OK with it."
Hokey fuckin' smokes, what sort of family background/genetic deficiencies did these two have? Are there any more at home like them? Bear in mind that when it's Pres. Clinton or Pres. Obama, people like this will be coming out of the woodwork taking potshots at any gov't. figure in a last-ditch effort to stop the socialist menace. Meter maids beware!

BATON ROUGE, La. -- A young woman killed two female students in a college classroom at a vocational college today, then killed herself, police said.
The students apparently were shot in their seats in the second-floor classroom at Louisiana Technical College, Sgt. Don Kelly said.
